Biography
I’ve been fascinated by the written word as long as I can remember.
I was a staff writer at the Dallas Business Journal and the Houston Chronicle. I was also the Houston bureau chief for space.com.
I’ve freelanced for numerous publications including the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Magazine, Air & Space and General Aviation News.
Additionally, I’ve served as an Army public affairs officer, film publicist and corporate communicator.
I earned a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California in 2006 and studied improvisational comedy at bang. in Los Angeles. I’m currently studying film and TV directing at UCLA Extension.
My screenplay, “Men of Honor,” was a AAA Screenwriting Contest finalist and optioned by a production company in 2008.
Travel is in my blood too. I’ve lived in Europe, Asia and Mexico. In 2001, I made the move from Texas to Southern California.
My current projects include developing reality TV shows and ghost writing a book for a prominent executive.
